On January 15th, 2008, Anderbo will begin considering previously unpublished manuscripts of novels that in some way touch on the main character's involvement with vegetarianism. Each entry should consist of a complete, printed-out, manuscript copy —NOT the original—along with the entrant's contact details, and the reading fee. We will start processing each entry upon its receipt by assigning it to an Anderbo editor for reading and assessment. Entries must be sent by The winning novelist will receive: The reading fee for entered manuscripts is 25 cents per typed manuscript page, maximum 23 lines (average) on each page. Entry fee by check or money order (must accompany the manuscript entry) payable to RRofihe. Only one entry per author. Entries should be sent by United Parcel Service or Federal Express ONLY to: Great Vegetarian Novel Contest Enclose TWO self-addressed, stamped, letter-sized envelopes—one to acknowledge that we received your entry, the other to send contest results. We do NOT return entered manuscripts—they will be recycled. Our e-mail address is: editors@anderbo.com (for correspondence only—do NOT e-mail your manuscript). If no winner is declared for this contest, all reading fees will be refunded. By entering the contest, each entrant agrees that the total legal and financial liabilities of the contest-givers will never be more than the paid entry-fee cost. We will not provide critiques.
